In 1997 Darrow ran Hobby Stock for the second year. There was a new car, a 1974 Plymouth Road Runner, which he drove home for a third place season finish. In '98 I took the wheel of the Hobby Stock to drive in an 11th place season finish. Darrow also finished 11th, but behind the wheel of his IMCA Modified.
In '99 we returned to the same classes, but me with a new car. If was a good year with alot of competition and some major wreckage to the Modified. All in all we did good for the year.
In 2000 we shared seats and ran the Two-Man Thunder Car Class. The season was fun, and we finished in 7th for the year. With the loss of one sponsor the NEW Modified sat this year out, collecting dust in the garage. Well bad me for not updating with info from 2001, as you all know the modified took home 10th for the season in 2001. I spent alot of time with track photos on my 34 page so take a look if you haven't. We thank all that sponsored in 2001, and thank our fans and families.
In 2002 we bought a new property and didn't have the funds to race. It took us longer than we wanted to get back on the track, but it paid off in 2005 when your webmistress, Tina Lillie took home 3rd Place for the season at 34 Raceway in Burlington, Ia. We have taken a few years off and are looking for sponsors for the 2013 season for Darrow. Good luck to all Drivers Everywhere in the Race Seasons to come!
Third Place Season Points in B-Modified! What a year! Thanks to all the fans, friends, and family that made 2005 the season it was!
